A collaboration with the Davis Center in Whitesville, VA, Eastern Shore Public Library, and the Desegregation of Virginia Education (DOVE) Project produced a group oral history interview of three students of the Whitesville Elementary School, a Rosenwald School in Whitesville, and two students of formerly segregated schools in Northampton County. This interview, conducted via Zoom, is intended as the first in a series to chronicle the legacy of Whitesville Elementary School and the community of Whitesville.
